Love their spinach croissants! Overall great food, ambience and helpful staff. A must visit for local residents!

Lawson's Bakery continues to impress with its delicious spinach croissant and crispy hash browns, all served in a warm, inviting atmosphere with great service. Although parking is a hassle, expanding the menu to include a selection of soups and lite pizza could really elevate the experience. Mention this review to receive extra smiles! :-)

Went in the other day to this their new location and thankfully the owner Natalie was there. The two new employees could answer any of my questions. I've been a realtor based out of Morgan Hill for 6 years although I service the entire Santa Clara County. I thought I'd treat the Willow Glenn realtor guests at the San Jose Broker Tour with the highly spoken of Lawsons Scones. I've personally tasted them once or twice over the years and thought they were good - I'm just used to the true European scones from Scotland for example, and these tiny squares didn't compare but I understand that we are not in Scotland!! Even though I was in there to purchase a full box of their proven tiny squared proven successful blueberry scones, Natalie suggested their seasonal NORMAL sized strawberry scones which were out of this world delicious! I brought one home for my wife and she said, "I would call the Chocolate Strawberry Scones, and I don't even taste strawberry". Thank you Lawsons & thank you Natalie!! I'll return and I will recommend.

Met ups with local friends and my gosh the pancakes were some of the best I have ever had. They have a very limited menu and only a few vegan options so that would have made this place 5 stars. I had the breakfast sandwich with no cheese and I swear it tastes like they make the English muffins there. My husband loved their breakfast burrito on wheat tortilla and the red velvet latte. They have quick counter service but I could see this place getting packed. On a Saturday at lunch, it was steady but not packed. It's further north from the downtown district but in a new space. The restaurant has a fun chalk wall and two gender neutral restrooms. I didn't get to try their cakes and pastries but our friends highly recommend them.

Amazing!! Just amazing. I ordered a cake for my wife birthday and she loved it. It was so tasty and wonderful. The line was SO LONG on Sunday but expected because it was busy and the food is so good!!

A+ experience ordering a cake for my nephew's first birthday. It was for the week of Christmas, so we had a limited menu to choose from, but the "Death by Chocolate" cake was a hit with the whole family. Leftovers were highly coveted by all! Excellent quality and kind staff. Thank you, Lawson's!

First time here! I ordered 2 eggs breakfast and latte. Wait time was over 25min. Could be faster) food was very delicious! Kind of noisy place, and not enough tables to seat inside. Hard to find parking.

We ordered the burnt almond cake for my Mom's birthday and everyone in the family loved it! The service was great, I placed the order via phone and they had it set aside for me when I arrived, pickup was easy and the new location looks modern but still has a cozy vibe. Looking forward to more tasty treats in the future from the neighborhood bakery!

Burnt almond cake! Been on a burnt almond cake kick. This place is bomb. I know "the king" of burnt almond is Peter's bakery in San Jose, and to be honest it wasn't the best I tried. It was good but it wasn't the best. Lawsons cakes, they tell you that you have to leave the cake out for at least 2 hours, and to be honest we left out the whole day and that's when it tasted the best! We did the 2 hour and the frosting was still too cold and didn't stick to the cake, but when we did the whole day it was perfect. The cake also was super fluffy and moist and not at all dry. The frosting and almonds... excellent. For a traditional burnt almond, this one was great! I honestly like it better than Peter's Bakery.

Cute bakery shop hidden in the corner. There is plenty of room for indoor dining inside. They serve breakfast and take orders to make cake for parties. They also serve coffee, fresh bakery goods (beignets, fudge brownies, blondies etc.). The service is excellent. Everyone was kind and patient and gave accurate estimates in terms of how long it takes to make there freshly made beignets. I have to say, the freshly made beignets is the main attraction for me, especially with their homemade caramel sauce. It is absolutely amazing! I will definitely be coming back just for that. Be aware, it is a bit messy to eat especially you take it to go as a roadtrip snack, but the nice part is they provide boxes to take it to go so you don't spill everywhere.
